Welcome to Class!

Greetings and welcome to my Fall 2021 Introduction to Psychology class at Pitt-Bradford. I am Dr. Page and I will be teaching this class. As I write this message, I am looking forward to being back in the classroom after teaching my classes remotely for the past 1 1/2 year. Hopefully we will all settle into the class together and be able to have a fun and successful semester learning about psychology. I want to assure you that if we need to make any adjustments to respond to COVID-19, I will try to do so in a way that is seamless. However, for me to aid you the best, it is important that you communicate with me about concerns or questions you have about class material and requirements.

This class will provide you an opportunity to learn about many foundational aspects of psychology. Hopefully, you will learn how psychologists understanding behavior and mental processes. I encourage you reach out to me if you find you are struggling in this class. The goal is that what you learn in this class will help prepare you for additional psychology classes. Even if you never take another psychology class, what you learn in this class will help you develop critical thinking skills--focused on behaviors and mental processes.

This Class Canvas Page includes a lot of important and helpful information and succeeding in this class. Therefore it is important for you to familiarize yourself with the class page. I want to draw your attention to several links on the left side of the page that you will be using frequently throughout the semester.
