How to copy grades into an Excel spreadsheet

While there is no way to download a version of your Grades in Blackboard, you can highlight the information on the My Grades page and paste them into an Excel spreadsheet if you wish to keep a record of them. Please note that this will not be considered an official grade record.

In the course you would like to copy your grades from, click on My Grades in the left-hand course navigation menu.

Highlight the data you would like to copy over by clicking and dragging the left-mouse button. Copy the text using CTRL+C.

Open Excel or another spreadsheet application. If using Excel, click on Blank Workbook.

Click on an empty cell and paste in your data using CTRL+V. The data will appear all in one column in this order:

Assignment Title

Assignment Due Date

Category of Assignment

Graded date and time

Grade of Assignment

The red rectangle is an assignment with a due date. The teal rectangle is an assignment without a due date.
