As with Blackboard, Canvas integrates with other Pitt educational technologies such as Panopto and Top Hat. All of the major integrations that were available in Blackboard will be available in Canvas by the start of the Summer 2020 term.

General Information About Integrations in Canvas

Due to recent events, we are not currently processing requests for new integrations in Canvas. We will resume as soon as circumstances allow, and in the meantime we welcome the submission of new requests for consideration when we do resume. We maintain a list of all integrations that are currently available in Canvas, or are in progress for inclusion. All third-party tools currently integrated with Canvas at Pitt have been reviewed for security and compatibility.

Integrating a new tool into Canvas is a time-intensive process, and not all requests will be granted. Timing varies widely, but in most cases these requests take several weeks before they're available for use in Canvas.
